Jungle Jumble was born from the challenge to create a children's book that would not only entertain children, but also function as an early introduction to abstract thinking—it's aim was to help children think outside the box. The mix and match style of the book allowed for near endless delight as children create new animal combos. I worked to create an illustration style that would also be appealing to the adults reading along, with a tight and cohesive color palette and personality in every brush stroke.
